State of the art technology in the laboratory – optimal operating comfort

The fittings of this universal oven are practically-oriented, their programme functions are designed for a wide variety of applications, and even when used intensively, our all-rounder made of stainless steel loses nothing in shine or in reliability. From 35 models, expandable with convenient , approved and tested accessories, you will easily find the heating oven ideally suited to your needs. The three controller classes Basic, Excellent and Perfect cover all requirements of thermal safety, precision and quality assurance, building upon each other.

Specific use in accordance with the German MPG (Law on Medical Devices)

In accordance with the German Law on Medical Products (Directive 93/42/EEC), the UFE/UFP heating oven can be used to heat up non-sterile clothes and covers.

Stainless steel – a heating oven (almost) for ever

60 years of permanent development work, as well as numerous amounts of feedback from practical experience, are embodied in each heating oven:

Temperature progress and monitoring devices

For precise temperature control in the laboratory

For standard temperature control tasks in science, research and industry, such as drying and heating up insensitive loads, the Basic class is recommended for use with the Universal Oven U. An electronic PID-controller with an integrated self-diagnosing system, as well as a high-quality platinum temperature sensor Pt100 ensure exact temperature control.

The double protection from overtemperature provides reliable protection for the load in the universal Memmert ovens. 

 

Technical specifications

  • Temperature range: 30 °C (at least 5°C or 10°C above ambient) to 220 °C
  • Temperature variation (time): < ±0.5 °C at 150 °C
  • Double overtemperature protection: If the electronic heating control should fail, heating is switched off at a fixed level of 10 °C above the setpoint. In addition a mechanical temperature limiter, TB, switches off heating permanently if the maximum permitted oven temperature is exceeded by approx. 10 °C.
  • A high-quality platinum temperature sensor Pt100 (DIN class A) in a 4-wire circuit (for stable long-term transmission of measurement signals)
  • Programmable digital timer (1 min. to 99 hrs 59 min.)
  • Manually adjustable air flap for fresh air intake
  • Visual alarm if temperature is exceeded
  • Function signals for stand-by, operating mode, heating and overtemperature
